This video demonstrates how to create a simple air purifier to use in your home. If for some reason your air purifier fails this temporary solution may help provide some temporary allergy relief until a more suitable solution can be put in place.
Although this is a clever idea there are a couple of things to point out
He mistakenly refers to the filter being used in this video as a HEPA filter but it’s not. It’s a MERV 13 filter which is still very efficient and it should work just fine.
I would put the filter on the inlet of the fan instead of the outlet as shown in the video.
If allergies are keeping you up at night this may provide some temporary relief.
Turn the fan on a couple hours before bed to allow time for it to clean the air. Keep your door and windows closed to prevent more dust from entering the room and sleep tight.
